Ok my favorite Bill Murray is in the beginning of The Royal Tenenbaums when he asks Dudley “where’s that red one going to go?”
Yup, that’s it, my favorite Bill Murray line of all time.
Scrooged was pretty good for the “will you please halt the god damn hammering!” Remember that?
As for holiday movies, I have always really loved (pre-death and even more post death) It’s a Wonderful Life.
And I have to watch The Grinch to sing “ya who dor ray” and because I love the sound of the instrument breaking when his heart grows three sizes. Oh and all the whos in bed holding their candy canes………and he gets to carve the roast beast…..I could keep going

I can’t believe you didn’t say this one…
So I jump ship in Hong Kong and make my way over to Tibet, and I get on as a looper at a course over in the Himalayas. A looper, you know, a caddy, a looper, a jock. So, I tell them I’m a pro jock, and who do you think they give me? The Dalai Lama, himself. Twelfth son of the Lama. The flowing robes, the grace, bald. striking. So, I’m on the first tee with him. I give him the driver. He hauls off and whacks one - big hitter, the Lama - long, into a ten-thousand foot crevice, right at the base of this glacier. And do you know what the Lama says? Gunga galunga gunga - gunga galunga. So we finish the eighteenth and he’s gonna stiff me. And I say, “Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know.” And he says, “Oh, uh, there won’t be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consiousness.” So I got that goin’ for me, which is nice.

we watch the grinchy grinch over and over too, i love the way dr suess makes up words, like chimbly, and we are always so sad for max, also rudolph quotes can be found throughout the year , like anytime we say “eat your dinner” someone says “eat pappa eat”, (we have 3 children), we sing theres always tomorrow ALOT, and make the lickity sound of ucon cornelious’ snowy ice-pic, oh and the nasely “im cute, im cute”, oh yes i could go on too, but at our house christmas really means raising arizona and H-I’s hair. JSYK bah-hoo-bor-rays
